In this busy world, we do realize that not everyone will be able to read every page on our web site, therefore we will let you know some of the more important pages to read below. However, if you do have time to read the entire site we feel it would be very useful in your search for the right medical transcription course.

There are many jobs all over the USA for both new and experienced medical transcriptionist. We get questions about if it is difficult to get hired as a NEW Medical Transcriptionist when they finish their Medical Transcription Course. A lot of the physicians and hospitals no longer post jobs for those just completing a medical transcription course on the Internet or in the Papers anymore. This does NOT mean that the jobs are not available because there are LOTS of jobs out there!

However, after trying to post the "no experience" job ads for New MTs on the Internet and in the papers they found they were flooded with resumes from both the MTs and from other people that had never even taken a medical transcription course and some did not know what medical transcription even was!

A lot of the resumes that they were flooded with were those that saw the "no experience" part of the ad and would send in a resume for data entry or word processing, etc. which was NOT medical transcription.

This resulted in a lot of companies losing time and money when having their human resource department try to go through thousands of resumes that did not pertain to the ad (If you genuinely think about how many people are on the Internet now days and see a single job ad, you can understand how they go so many resumes.)

However, in order to find those that did pertain to the ad (the ones that did take medical transcription course), they would have to search through all of the resumes including those that were not MTs.

This did not benefit anyone, and many MTs never got their resume looked at on account of it getting lost among thousands of resumes that were not MTs After several times of this happening, it was discussed among the medical officials to try it a different way - this other way is by going directly through the Medical Transcription Schools, Classes, Training Courses that offer Medical Transcription Job Assistance to those that complete their training successfully.

This has turned out to be a much more beneficial way of definitely giving first time Medical Transcriptionist a chance to start building their career. Every Medical Transcriptionist that has years of experience had to start from the very beginning just as all new MTs that are starting their career.

However, now it is much easier for them to begin their career because there are some (not all) training courses that offer medical transcription job assistance and that there is now digital medical transcription instead of the old method of tape transcription.

Digital medical transcription has opened up so many new jobs all across the USA with the ease of downloading and uploading the dictation and transcribed documents when completed.

You can clearly live in one state such as California and work for a physician which is located thousands of miles away such as Florida or Texas. You can make a good medical transcription salary working out of your home.

The new technology has opened up so many new doors for those wanting to work at home!

We do have an online job database which is open to the public; however, it is designed more for those with prior experience.

As mentioned above, most physicians do NOT want their information put on the Internet or in the Papers anymore if it is for a 1st time position on account of those that do not read the job posting carefully to see that it is for medical transcription and not data entry or other job types.

We do update the database as often as possible; however, our 1st priority is to those that are taking our medical transcription course and those that have completed our course.

The database is there to assist experienced MTs that might be looking for a new physician for their client base or just looking for a new MT position.

Please understand though that while we do update it to assist the Experienced MTs out, we feel it is important to spend most of our time on researching new positions for our NEW MTs and sending out the resumes of those that have finished our course and become a New MT.

We also teach you new ways of looking for the 1st time jobs that are out there even when they do not post a "no experience" job ad online for New MTs! You will find that more physicians feel more comfortable in hiring a New MT which is referred by a School Or Company that they have completed their course through.
