Course #1 - Does not come with a transcriber or laptop.
Course #2 - Comes with a transcriber but NO laptop.
Course #3 - Comes with a laptop, but NO Transcriber.
Course #4 - Comes with both a laptop and a Transcriber.

*Courses 3 & 4 come with a laptop. All of the laptops are name brand laptops with internet access as long as you have Internet hooked up at your home or office. The laptops have great memory, plenty of hard drive space and come with the manufacture warranty. We use different name brand laptops such as Toshiba, HP, Dell, Acer, Etc.* Hard drives are at least 40 gig to 80 gig. Processors are at least 256K to 1gig. We cannot determine which ones we will get as they come directly from the manufactures (name brands listed above). We can tell you that they all have Windows XP as Windows Vista is so new that this program still does not work with all popular programs on the market, including many MT Course and Terminology programs. Windows XP is the perfect operating system and will work fine. Once Windows Vista has been around long enough for them to work out the problems then it would probably be okay to get it, however before upgrading to any new version of windows I would check with any major programs you use every day and make sure they have drivers for Vista.
