Christian Bulletin of the month: October is a month that some Christians have a problem with. A lot of kids love to go "Trick or Treating" in celebration of Halloween. However, many Christians do not believe in Halloween. If you do decide to take your child trick or treating on Halloween please consider some "safe" places to do this at: Places such as Malls or Shopping Centers seem safer than in neighborhoods now days. Also many Churches will have a gathering for the children and will call it a different name so that the kids can still dress up in a costume and trick or treat in a "safe" environment. Please remember to check all of the child's candy before they eat it. While we wish that all people were nice, there are some people out there in this would that will hurt others just for spite. Just remember that if you do celebrate Halloween or go "Trick or Treating" to keep the kids as safe as possible because they are our blessings from God. |
